Attachment-based care, backed by science.

Attachment-based care is fundamental to our practice. It influences how we interact with both babies and parents, ensuring that all care activities promote a secure attachment. This approach involves responsive caregiving that attends to the emotional signals of the baby, fostering an environment of safety and trust. Our doulas are trained to support and enhance the attachment process through consistent and sensitive responses to the baby's needs, which also helps parents feel more connected and confident in their roles.

Our Services

  • 9-12 hours of specialized overnight care consisting of tending to baby, supporting feeding, washing and sterilizing bottles and more.

  • Support that encompasses the whole family. This includes baby care, parent care, home care, sibling care and meal prepping.

We take care of all things baby so that you get a good nights rest. This includes responsive expert baby care, attending to every cry. While we don’t sleep “train”, we do sleep condition, setting your baby up for optimized sleep inline with appropriate age expectations.

We also provide feeding support, whether breast or bottle fed. You can expect all bottles and pump parts, to be washed when you wake up from your slumber. Also included is nursery organizing, folding baby laundry, emotional support for parents and curated referrals.

What a postpartum doula does not do.

While postpartum doulas provide extensive support to new families, there are certain services they do not offer. Postpartum doulas do not perform medical tasks; they do not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, or conduct clinical assessments. Additionally, while they assist with light household tasks related to the baby's care and the well-being of mom, they are not housekeepers and do not do deep cleaning or handle heavy household chores. Their focus is on providing emotional support, practical baby care assistance, and educational guidance.
